Bank Details

What are the icons in the table header for?

This table displays your bank account details for Scholarships and/or Bursaries.

Payments of Scholarships and/or Bursaries are made by the University using the Banks Automated Clearing System (BACS), so we need your UK bank sort code and account number in order to make payment. Your bank details will be stored securely and only used to make payments to you.

You will find your bank account details printed on your payment card and on your cheque book. Please enter your bank sort code in the format '999999'. Please enter all 8 digits of your bank account number. Some account numbers appear to be only 7 digits long. If you have one of these accounts then (in the absence of any other advice from your bank) you will need to enter a preceding 0. For example, if your account number is shown as '1234567' you will need to enter '01234567'.
N.B. Your account number must be 8 digits in length to comply with the requirements of the BACS payment system. If you need clarification of your account number please contact your bank.

Payments will always go to your nominated account, so if you change banks you need to change the details on Sussex Direct.
