Cms Required Sessions

What are the icons in the table header for?

This table displays a list of all the sessions for the selected teaching group.

To enter attendances, click on the link in the 'Recorded' column. You may only enter attendances for sessions that have taken place. Where sessions have not yet taken place, the column displays a link for viewing or printing an attendance sheet.

If you are not teaching the group at the time of the session, you will not get a link in the 'Recorded' column. For example, if the course is Spr/Sum but you teach it only in the Spring term, you will not get a link for the Summer sessions.

You will have a Cancel Session button in the 'Recorded' column for the courses for which you have not yet recorded attendance. If you cancel a session before it is due to take place, your students will receive an email, notifying them of the cancellation. They will also receive a text message if they have signed up for this facility and input their mobile phone details into Sussex Direct. If you make a mistake it is possible to uncancel the session by clicking the '[Uncancel]' link. However you must remember to contact your students, informing them of this mistake. Cancelled sessions will be indicated in your teaching timetable and your students' study timetables. To set up a replacement session, you will need to contact your Departmental Co-ordinator.
