Convenor
What are the icons in the table header for?
If any information is incorrect, please contact your departmental co-ordinator.
The enhanced convenor table displays a list of courses for which you are the assessment convenor.
The new easy-access features are:
- You can quickly identify courses where you need to take some action such as entering or editing
marks, and those where there is no work to do right now!
- A simple drop-down 'Action list' takes you to pages where you can enter this information
- One click takes you to course details, teaching group details, conflation and exam details and
a full list of assessments
Your course Action list gives you a set of quick links to the
pages where you need to fill in some information or be aware of particular situations. The
different links displayed here are:
- Not all assessments generated for the current academic year
No action is needed here, but you should be aware that one or more of the contributory
assessments for this course have not yet been set up. Until the assessment is set up it will
not appear on student timetables nor will you be able to mark it. If you click on this link,
it will take you to a list of all the assessments for this course.
- Set date
When assessments are created from the syllabus, they may not have been given default day and
time for the submission deadline. If they do not have a day and time set, they will not
appear on student timetables, and you will not be able to delegate them or enter marks for them.
To add the day and time for an assessment, click on this link.
- Chase tutor
The submission deadline has passed for a delegated assessment, and not all marks have been
sent by the tutors.
- Enter

all the marks. To enter marks for an assessment, click on this link.

students. At the moment, these marks will not be visible to the students on their Sussex
Direct Study pages. Click on the link to go to the page where you can release these marks.
Click on the n groups link in the 'Groups' column to view a list of
all the teaching groups for this course.
The Conflate/Send to Exams link in the 'Manage Course' column takes
you to a list of all students. You can conflate their marks, send marks to exams and view the
finalised marks from the exam system on this page. It also displays the conflation rule for
coursework on the course.
Clicking on the Marks Register link in the 'Manage Course' column shows all
contributory marks recorded for students taking this course.
The Assessments column displays the total number of contributory
