Course Summary

What are the icons in the table header for?

This chart shows your mark for each assessment component of the specified course taken against a summary of the marks achieved by the other students on the course in the same academic year.

Your mark is shown as a red ball , the number above the ball is your net mark (academic mark less any lateness or misconduct penalty). The blue box presents the distribution of the other students' marks. The top edge of the blue box represents the highest mark for the assessment and the bottom edge represents the lowest non-zero mark. The horizontal black bar across the blue box represents the average (mean) mark for the assessment.

The marks used to populate this chart are all from the candidates' first attempts at the course. Marks from September sits or resits are not included. Zero marks (usually as a result of absence or non-submission) are also excluded from the statistics as they tend to distort the profile of marks.

You should be able to see at a glance when you are performing above or below the average and also easily see your strongest and weakest performance.
