What are the icons in the table header for?

Use this table to sign up to receive text messages from ITS.

Teaching staff can opt to receive text messages from IT Services. These messages inform teaching staff when the IT systems that are essential for teaching are disrupted, for example if there is a problem with PC login or a problem with the Study Direct server. The text message may also contain essential information about how to temporarily resolve login issues, which will help staff to maintain their teaching schedule in the lecture theatres and seminar rooms.

You will only receive a text message if you have a tick in the 'Contact Details' table, indicating that you are happy to receive SMS text messages from the University.

If you are interested in receiving these texts you must do two things:

1. Subscribe to the service by clicking the Subscribe button in the table header
2. Enter your mobile phone number and ensure that you have agreed to allow the University to text your mobile number

When you are no longer teaching, you can unsubscribe so that you do not receive text messages unnecessarily.
