Student Term Attendance What are the icons in the table header for? If any information is incorrect, please contact your tutor. View information on your attendance. A '-' sign in the 'Present' column indicates that nothing has been entered. If you have given a reasonable explanation of an absence from a teaching event, the present column will display 'Abs N' which is short for 'absence notified'. You are not expected to provide medical or other certification to explain absence from teaching events (unless a formal assessment was held during the teaching event, in which case you should engage with the normal mitigating evidence procedures).
