Tgo Attendance Grid

What are the icons in the table header for?

If any information is incorrect or if students who have left the group are appearing on the list, please contact your departmental co-ordinator.

It is a good idea to print out the register at the start of every session, as student details (e.g. name), may have been updated since the last session.

It contains only those students who are currently in the teaching group.

If you have cancelled a session in your 'Sessions' table, the session will not appear on this register.

Attendence status is one of the following:

  • Present
  • Absent
  • Absence notified

Absence notified means that a student has given a reasonable explanation for their absence. Note that students are not expected to provide medical or other certification to explain absence from teaching events.

If you want to view the register for a different term, use the 'Term' drop-down list in the table header.

Please be aware that for a group spanning two or more terms, or for a group with many teaching sessions, it may be necessary to use the horizontal scroll bar to view information for all of the sessions.

You can display a bar chart summarising attendances for this teaching group by clicking on the Stats icon in the table header.

To add or edit attendances, please use the 'Sessions for this group' button in the table sub-header to get a list of all the sessions. You can then select the one you would like to work on.
