Web Profile Pg What are the icons in the table header for? This table allows you to optionally sign up for a web profile. Having a web profile means that you will be listed on your Departmental web pages along with other information that you enter into the 'Web Profile' tables. If you are already an Associate tutor you may already be familiar with the Sussex Direct Web Profile tables. Signing up to the Professional Researcher Profile facility will enable you to access 3 extra profile sections: Qualifications, Bibliography and Other Interests. Once you complete these sections these will appear on your existing web profile. Signing up to the facility will also enable you to associate yourself with another departmental or research group web site, where you will appear in the list of Research Students. The Department field defaults to the department with which you are registered as a student. Once you have saved this information you will be able to add further departments or research groups, for example if you belong to an additional research group. Use the From field to control the date when your profile will appear online. The default is set one week from now. The To field displays the date when your profile will no longer appear online. The default is set to one month after your programme ends. You should only extend this date if you have officially extended your programme end date. You can click on the grid icon to the right of these fields to use a pop-up calendar. Click 'Save' in the table header to save this information. You will then have the option to edit the information or to add another Department or Research Group.
